What I still know
eine Neuron Cell receives signals via the dendrites. These signals then arrive in the cell body. Processes start there as the production of certain neuropeptides or enzymes. Then the signal keeps on travelling through the axon to the axon terminal and to other cells.
The action potential travels through the axon by depolarising the sections one by one.
What Types of Neurons
| neuron cells | type | location |
|---|---|---|
| Pyrimidal cells | excitatory | cortex |
| Purkinje cells | inhibitory | cerebellum |
| motor neuron | excitatory | muscle fibers |
| sensory neurons | inhibitory | sensoring organs |
