also called What-Pathway, refers to which object to remember. This distinguishes between objects (e.g. in its shape)
It includes the areas of V1-V4
Along the posterior-anterior axis, latencies, receptive field sizes, and complexity increase.
Are computations across the ventral stream only feedforward then? Life is never that simple.
