Acting on Environment
parietal reach region (PRR), which contains neurons that indicate where the person is about to reach. Because this occurs before the reach happens, it can be described as predictive of the coming reach. Oncee the reach begins, prediction continues as the visual system monitors the hand’s location, so if the reach veers off course, causing a Prediction Error, appropriate course corrections can be made.
