Broca’s and Wernicke’s Area
- Both have an extra layer of myelin sheath
- Are located in the left hemisphere (the right hemisphere is only partly involved in speech recognition and production)
- beide wurden durch Verletzungen am Gehirn von Patienten entdeckt, welche auf wundersamer Weise Sprachprobleme aufwiesen.
