preattentive processing
Filter
preattentive processing scans our enviroment subconsciously and filters all the information.
So we only pay attention to the things our brain filtered for us and thinks is relevant to us. All this happens unconsciously.
People with low latent inhibition have more problems with the preattentive processing. Not so much information gets filtered.
