The V4 area of the monkey is similar to the human’s IT which processes complex images as scenes, faces or objects.
What if we take an image and let a ANN predict the firing of the V4 neuron.
then we freeze the ANN, do backpropagation through the network and change the input so it creates a higher neural response in future iterations.
