- über den dorsal pathway werden Siganle vom Visual cortex an den parietal lobe geschickt.
- Dort werden Bewegungen in Bezug zu Objekten koordiniert - über den so genannten how-pathway.
- Der how-pathway erfordert kein Bewusstsein.
- Der parietal lobe steht dauerhaft in Kommunikation mit dem Temporal lobe und vergleicht welche Objekte angesprochen und zu welchen Objekten Bezug hergestellt werden muss.
- Die Kommunikation zum temporal lobe läuft auch über die Temporo parietal junction
